Pritvi prefers Kerala

Pritviraj has made his intentions clear that he will stick to Malayalam for the next six months, even though he has plenty of offers in Tamil. It is far more lucrative for him to do Tamil films where he can get a salary of Rs 60 to Rs 80 lakhs range, but the guy is determined to make it big in Malluwood. Prithvi's Christmas release Kangaroo is a safe bet for its distributors Lal creations. For the first time, theatres in Kerala are willing to offer advance for his films to the distributors, a clear indication that he is saleable. The actor knows that his time to reach superstardom is fast approaching, and it’s better to remain in Malayalam rather than Tamil. He is starting a new film with veteran director Joshy titled Robinhood, where he will play a high-tech thief who robs from ATM’s! The film is being made by his lucky producers Santha Murali and P.K Murali who gave the super hit Classmates and Chocolate with him. And the script is by his Chocolate writers Sachi and Sethu. The actor is said to be terrific in Madhupal’s Thalapavu (see pic) as a Naxalite leader, based on the true story of Naxal Vargheese and constable Ramachandran. The film is likely to release in March. Meanwhile Pritviraj has also signed up a new film One way ticket with a new director Vipin Prabhakar, based on a script of veteran Babu Janardanan. The shooting of the film is likely to start in Ottapalam in the first week of March. And the buzz is that Pritvi is going to reunite with his Chocolate director Shafi for a big Onam film.
