Manisha Koirala to play Nayan's mom

Manisha Koirala, who had done Tamil films like Bombay, Indian, Muthalvan and Baba is now making a comeback in Kollywood as Dhanush’s arrogant mother-in-law in Maapillai

The pretty actress who looks stunning is now flooded with offers to do mother roles in south cinema. The latest we hear is that art house Malayalam director Shyamaprasad, has offered her the role of Nayanthara’s mother in his next Malayalam film Electra!

The film is based on a Greek play, and Manisha has an author backed role, a very challenging one. When Manisha was contacted i n Mumbai, the actress said: “I really loved the script by Shyamaprasad and is looking forward to doing the film, which will start rolling in April ".
