Ajith nears his half-century

Close on the heels of actor Vijay nearing his 50th film, actor Ajith too has joined him in the race. 'Aegan' starring Ajith, is his 48th film (directed by choreographer Raju Sundaram) which is ready for release on Deepaavali. His next would be directed by Gautham Menon for Sivaji Productions. All eyes are now focussed on who would direct Ajith for his 50th film. Interestingly Vijay's 48th film is 'Villu' and is directed by Prabhudeva. His next would be 'Vettaikaran' followed by his 50th film to be produced by his father S A Chandrasekharan. The director is still to be finalised. The fact that two popular heroes of Tamil cinema nearing their 50th film is a moment to cherish for their fans.
