A 'Tamil' door to Adoor

Adoor Gopalakrishnan, the most famous of india's living auteurs will now have a book on his life and creativity, published in Tamil language. Adoor, is perhaps one of the filmmaker about whom a lot of literary and critical works had been made in his home language. Akbar Kakkattil, a popular short story writer has penned this Tamil biography based on a few interviews with the director, in the title 'Idam Porul Kalai'. The book was released at a function held at Mind Screen in Mylapore, Chennai in the presence of celebrities like director vasanth, and actor Rohini. The book, also deals with writings on Adoor's relationships with his contemporary film-makers like G. Aravindan and John Abraham.
