‘Aayudham’ for August 8

Suresh Gopi's new movie 'Aayudham' will grace the theatres on the eight of next month. The movie directed by M A Nishad tells the story of an investigative officer, a close aide of the chief minister of the state, who is entrusted to clear off some mysteries surrounding a grave murder. ‘Aayudham’ will have Thilakan in a prominent role, after a long time. The movie will be brought to theatres by Times ads release, who recently distributed the blockbuster 'Dasavatharam'. M A Nishad, a politician turned movie director, has to credit films like 'Pakal’ and ‘Nagaram' which were all noted for their close watch on social issues.
