10 new films launched

In Malayalam cinema dominated by the superstars, there may not be any takers for small films. But the show has to go on as one established producer and nine debutant producers launched their maiden ventures. 10 new films were launched last week before the inauspicious karkadakam started. Four of them have English, and one of them has a Hindi title. Anyway it is a good thing that new producers are willing to come forward and make films in Malayalam with the lesser stars.
The films launched are-

2.Kana Kazchakal- Cast- Vinu Mohan, Roma Director- Sanal, Producer- Annie
3.Boss- Cast- Suresh Gopi, Vasundhra Das, Director- Nissar, Producer-Shahjahan
4.Jeevanam- Cast- Newcomers, Director- Regina, Producers- Malabar Visual Media
5. Bada Bhai- Cast –Kalabhavan Mani, Sruthi Nair, Director-Shyam, Producer- Salim.K. Mohammad.
6. Currency(in pic)- Cast- Jayasurya, Mukesh, Meera Nandan, Director- Swathi Bhaskar, Producer- Brij Gill
7. The Mirror - Cast- Newcomers, Director-Hari Narayanan, Producer-Kannan
8. Kousthubham- Cast- Sai Kumar, Samvrutha , Director- Sajiv
9.Samayam- Cast- Sreenivasan, Shwetha Menon, Director- Satish Poduval, Producer- S.Shahjahan
