Big B: With love, in Marathi!

We seldom see stars in Bollywood speaking in Marathi even if they know it. May be due to a lot of reasons, some of which we can easily guess.

But when it comes to winning the hearts of the natives, speaking the local language is the best option. No actions can compete with the native language in striking a chord with the listeners.

And that is exactly what megastar Amitabh Bachchan finally did. He used the Marathi language to express his love for the Maharashtra state, its people and to prove himself as a true 'Dharthi ka lal'.

Recently during the Hogenikal crisis Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth cleared the air speaking to the Kannada channels in their own mother tongue to ward off allegations about him being against the people of Karnataka. May be this gave Big B a clue.

Speaking in Marathi, Amitabh, told to a private TV Channel about his association with the state, how the Maharashtrians a very near to his heart and also spoke about how the state helped him realizing his dream of being a star.

Bal Thackeray who has stated Amitabh as the superstar of the whole country will surely be a great support for this superstar in this time of identity crisis.

Now that Big B has proved himself to be a good Marathi speaker at par with the native speakers the critics will now be waiting for a chance to pounce on him for another issue.
