Aadesh's first international track Bollywood Meets Hollywood with American rapper Wyclef Jean and Abhishek Bachchan hits stores in the India in July. To be released under the Sony –BMG label, the song is expected to be a big hit. To promote the song Aadesh has tied up for a commercial with Motorola, which will feature Abhishek, Aadesh and Wyclef Jean. Says Aadesh, "The track is part of my album with Wyclef entitled Carnival 2. As you know Wyclef and I flew down to Miami to record the number with Abhishek who was shooting there for Karan Johar's film. "Bollywood Meets Hollywood is already a craze abroad. Youtube is filled with the song. We've big plans for the song in India. I hope it would be like a singing launch for Abhishek." Aadesh plans to tie up with other international singers like Justin Timberlake in the near future. "I missed the chance recently because I was busy judging a reality show in India. Justin's company is very keen to tie up with us."

After a gap of three years, Punjabi pop singer Jaswinder Singh Bains alias Jazzy-B comes up with a new album titled Romeo and says it throws light on the youth's indulgence in alcohol and drugs. "The title track Rambo talks about how the youth should not do drugs and urges them to hit the gym," said Jazzy B who was in the capital for the promotion of the album. "The album is for the young generation especially Asian kids, since a lot of them are getting into drugs," he added. Disappointed with youngsters' fascination for drugs, Jazzy said, "16-year-olds are doing drugs. This album sends out a message to all of them that they should avoid drugs."So will the album not have Jazzy's usual boy wooing girl antics? "It will, you got to have a song about girls," he quipped. The singer is widely known for his flamboyant music videos and this time he boasts of an even bigger panache. "My videos will have cars that even rap stars don't use in their videos. We've got cars like Bugattis and the videos have been shot at locations in England and Canada," informed Jazzy.Asked what took him so long to come up with another album, the singer said, "Actually, I wanted to concentrate more on the lyrics this time so that took time."

It's official! Nayanthara has signed a record deal, to do ace director Lingusamy's new untitled film with Karthi as the hero. It is a major casting coup of sorts for Lingusamy as he is bringing together the fastest rising young star with the number one heroine in Kollywood. Nayan is said to have signed the film for the highest ever amount offered to a south Indian heroine in recent times. The film is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer against the backdrop of a city. After listening to Lingu's storyline, Nayan simply fell in love with it. She is also eager to do a film with Karthi and this new pair is sure to sizzle on screen. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the shoot will start in August. Nayan has given bulk dates for the film in September as it is likely to be completed in one single schedule.

It seems Mohanlal is going to do a film titled Nair San, in which he is going to be featured with Jackie Chan! Hard to digest? The film will be shot in Mongolia, and will have a Japanese, Chinese and English version. It will be directed by Albert, who won the Aravindan award for his debut film Kanne Madanguka.”Nair San is based on a real character, Ayyapan Pillai Madhavan Nair. He studied in Model School in Thiruvananthapuram and, during his school days, he got involved in the freedom struggle. He had to escape from the British—so he escaped to Japan via Sri Lanka and joined the war against British imperialism,” says Albert.Albert had sent the concept script to Jackie Chan’s office and got a positive report from him. Later, he went to Hong Kong and is reported to have met Chan.“The film’s shoot will start on September 1 in Mongolia and we are talking to Jackie Chan’s office to coordinate the shoot,” he says. “It is a historical period drama and will be shot by cameraman Vaidi. It is a big budget commercial extravaganza with a budget of around Rs 50 crore. The Morphous group from the Middle East is funding the project.”When contacted, Mohanlal said: “I think it is a great opportunity for an actor like me to do the role of Nair San. My father had told me many years back about Sen’s daring exploits and he had met hi, too. I’m told that he used to stay in Poojapura, the area where I stay in Thiruvananthapuram.” Mohanlal has given a 125-day call sheet for the film, which will be shot in Mongolia, Japan and Hong Kong.

Mammootty has crooned for Shaji.N Karun's Kutty Sranku! It is a Nadan(folk) type song sung for Chavittu Nadagam (Roadside Play, a method popularized by the communists in the 50's).The song sung by Mammootty has been picturised on him and Kamalinee Mukerjee, who plays the daughter of a Chavittu Nadagam writer in the film. Mammootty plays Kutty Sranku, a boatman who falls for three women- Kamalinee, Padmapriya and Meena Kumari.This is the second film that Mammootty has sung.
